چکیده
rst two terms in the above expression correspond to the case in which no losses take place and n ? 1 cells are accepted from the N ? 1 sources in addition to one cell from the tagged source. In the next two terms, losses may take place with at least n cells arriving from the N ? 1 sources. The tagged source does not enter the blocked state in this case, but it may have encountered loss. Notice that the tagged customer cell may be accepted in the buuer in this case, and note that preference is given to cells which contain the EOP indicators. The fth and sixth terms refer to the case in which losses take place, but not from the tagged source which does not transmit a cell containing an EOP indictor. In this case, cells containing EOP indicators are accepted rst, and then cells are chosen randomly from the rest of the arriving cells to ll the remaining room. Finally, the last two terms denote the case in which the tagged source encounters loss and enters the active but blocked state. The tagged source does not generate a cell containing an EOP indicator in this case. In case the EOP indicator is not used for partial packet discarding, the A n and C n matrices must be modiied. A n modiies to A 0 n as given below:

Cartesian decomposition of matrices and some norm inequalities
Let X be an n-square complex matrix with the Cartesian decomposition X = A + i B, where A and B are n times n Hermitian matrices. It is known that $Vert X Vert_p^2 leq 2(Vert A Vert_p^2 + Vert B Vert_p^2)$, where $p geq 2$ and $Vert . Vert_p$ is the Schatten p-norm. In this paper, this inequality and some of its improvements ...
متن کاملComputational aspect to the nearest southeast submatrix that makes multiple a prescribed eigenvalue
Given four complex matrices $A$, $B$, $C$ and $D$ where $Ainmathbb{C}^{ntimes n}$ and $Dinmathbb{C}^{mtimes m}$ and let the matrix $left(begin{array}{cc} A & B C & D end{array} right)$ be a normal matrix and assume that $lambda$ is a given complex number that is not eigenvalue of matrix $A$. We present a method to calculate the distance norm (with respect to 2-norm) from $D$ to ...
متن کاملGrowth Performance and Biochemical Parametersof Broiler Chickens on Diets Consist of Chicory (Cichorium intybus) and Nettle (Urtica dioica) with or without Multi-Enzyme
A total of 288 broiler chickens (1 d old) were used in a 42-d growth trial to study the effects of chicory (Cichorium intybus) and nettle (Urtica dioica) with or without multi-enzyme on growth performance, carcass traits, and biochemical parameters. The corn-soybean based control diet and 8 experimental diets were fed to each of 3 pens of chickens (12 chickens/pen). Treatments were as follows: ...
متن کاملOn nest modules of matrices over division rings
Let $ m , n in mathbb{N}$, $D$ be a division ring, and $M_{m times n}(D)$ denote the bimodule of all $m times n$ matrices with entries from $D$. First, we characterize one-sided submodules of $M_{m times n}(D)$ in terms of left row reduced echelon or right column reduced echelon matrices with entries from $D$. Next, we introduce the notion of a nest module of matrices with entries from $D$. We ...
متن کاملSolving LR fuzzy linear matrix equation†
In this paper, the fuzzy matrix equation $Awidetilde{X}B=widetilde{C}$ in which $A,B$ are $n times n$crisp matrices respectively and $widetilde{C}$ is an $n times n$ arbitrary LR fuzzy numbers matrix, is investigated. A new numerical procedure for calculating the fuzzy solution is designed and a sufficient condition for the existence of strong fuzzy solution is derived. Some examples are ...
